The final year of my English Literature degree with the Open University is going to be pretty heavy going with 30 texts over 2 modules. Hefty texts such as Bleak House by Charles Dickens; London Labour and the London Poor by Henry Mayhew; and Walden, Civil Disobediance and Other Writings by Henry D Thoreau, means I will have to put my favourite authors on hold for a while... boohoo.

It's not all bad news though. The modules I will be studying are A233 Telling Stories, and A335 Literature in Transition which include some pretty amazing books - including 3 books on fairy tales - how brilliant is that!
